-Una historia que a priori no tiene mucho más que dar en manos de un buen cuentacuentos; se convierte en una película divertida soportado casi por completo por Takeshi Kitano con un papel entrañable y muy bien conseguido.
-Personajes envueltos en un ambiente tan extraño, increíble e incomprensible como la cara y los gestos de Kitato, propio del cine del absurdo que no siempre gusta.
