La serie empieza muy bien en la primera escena, que si bien puede resultar un poco excesiva en la caricaturización del mal, pienso que está muy bien filmada.
La serie se deja ver, está entretenida, buena estética y actuación, pero tiene incoherencias e inconsistencias de guión que le hacen perder puntos.
Parece que intenta imitar o inspirarse en la estética Tarantino, si bien no acaba de conseguirlo.

La muerte de Murray en el metro, es absurda. El hombre podía haberse alejado de la bomba como hace Jonah. En lugar de eso se queda a intentar desactivarla, y cuando ve que no puede, aún le quedan segundos para marcharse corriendo, pero se queda ahí. El guionista/director quería poner ahí un poco de drama (viendo a su hijo y tal) y lo ha hecho a coste de la coherencia. Se muere y punto.
Hay momentos en que Jonah parece tener cambios bruscos de personalidad que desconciertan. También hay escenas que sobran bastante, como el clásico cliché americano de "es culpa mia, han muerto por mi culpa" que sale en todas las series y ya cansa, como cuando le pitan los oídos e incluso le sangran después de morir el nazi pianista.
Al principio la serie es cuidadosa con detalles como los cadáveres que van quedando. El músico muerto desaparece y lo comentan (bien), el amigo gordito o el nazi de la tienda de juguetes, viene la policía a investigarlo (bien), pero que hay del nazi que está en el sótano de Murray y Mindy, cómo se dehace Mindy del cadáver? No es tan fácil.
Y Al Pacino? Muere y a nadie le importa? El mini ejército de guarda espaldas que tenía, no hacen nada, no hay reacción? La agente del FBI no lo echa en falta? Jonah simplemente pasa a ser el jefe de los Hunters, ¿se quedará en su casa y con su dinero también? Porque para tener un grupo así hace falta medios económicos, y Jonah es un muerto de hambre.
De nuevo, el guionista y/o director han querido meter aquí un plot twist, y lo han hecho a coste de la coherencia. Porque si, y punto. Da igual todo.
Puede que haya gente a la que no le importe, pero a mi las incoherencias me parecen errores que hacen que la serie sea peor. Lástima, porque puliendo estos detalles, podría haber quedado un producto muy bueno. La primera escena prometía, de hecho el personaje de Biff Simpson es un puntazo.
