Se trata de una película de 1980 que se mueve entre lo fantástico con toques muy románticos. Gran interpretación de Christopher Reeve y de Jane Seymour. Una mención especial merece la banda sonora de John Williams y la preciosa melodía de Rachmaninoff, Rapsodia sobre un tema de Paganini que ayuda mucho a ese aire romántico a la película.
