Global warming ravages the world beyond recognition. As millions of terrified survivors flee south, Professor Adrian Hall (Dennis Quaid), a brilliant paleoclimatologist, heads to New York City which is being taken over by a new ice age.He is in search of his son Sam (Jake Gyllenhaal), who may still be alive. Apart from saving his son, Quaid also has to figure out a way to save the world.

Esta fue una película que en su día tuve muchas ganas de ver y claro, el resultado es evidente: gran decepción. La típica historia sentimentaliode apoyada de un escandaloso presupuesto con la que Hollywood nos "obsequia" cada año, llena de tópicos y demás parafernalia (el discursito de Quaid vs EUU no tiene desperdicio). Un 3 y por los efectos.
