The Roman Empire is plunged into chaos when Julius Caesar is assassinated and his power is passed on to his 18-year-old nephew Octavius. With his guardian, former gladiator Tyrannus, Octavius is forced into exile to escape those who wish to sever Caesar's bloodline permanently. Under Tyrannus' tutelage, Octavius prepares to face off against the treacherous Marc Antony and fulfill his destiny as the leader of Rome.

Esta película la vi en televisión en dos secciones los días lunes 27 y martes 28 de Marzo de 2006, en el peliculón de las 22´00 horas. Interesante y aunque ya se sabe de que va el tema, mantiene al espectador en tensión. Nos gustó mucho, ya que a mi los temas históricos me encantan. Y he visto películas y he leído sobre la historia del Imperio Romano.
