Si te has leído el libro, hazte un favor y no veas la película. Dejando aparte que sólo cubre la mitad (dejando bastantes tramas descolgadas y un final sin sentido), comete tantos errores que incluso el propio Michael Ende pidió que le quitasen el nombre de los créditos.
Si no has leído el libro y no piensas hacerlo, puede ser una película infantil entretenida, con efectos especiales bastante curiosos y personajes simpáticos.
