Musical. Comedy. Romance Silent screen stars Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont face a crisis when the advent of talkies threatens to end their careers, until Don comes up with idea of adding songs to their films. Unfortunately, Lina is completely unable to hold a tune and she is not happy when Don asks his girlfriend to dub not only her singing voice, but her speaking voice too.

Por fin los números de baile se acoplan a la trama con valor narrativo. Espectacular crítica al mundo del cine desde puntos de vista infantiles, pero que descubren lo que todos sabemos y que no se atreven a publicar.
