Película que quizás para lo que quiere contar se alargada demasiado, dos horas son mucho tiempo.
El argumento trata sobre una serie de catástrofes que estaban escritas que iban a suceder antes de que sucediesen. Un profesor descubre esta lista y se empieza a emparanoiar con ella.
Tanto Nicolas Cage como Rose Byrne no hacen una gran interpretación, esta actriz para mi gusto esta bastante encasillada en sus interpretaciones.
Pasar saber el por que de mi titulo tendréis que ver la película y luego leer el spoiler.

Me da la sensación de que faltan bastantes explicaciones en la película.
Por ejemplo la supercivilización que viene a salvar a algunos, ¿por qué no salva a todos?. Tanto progreso en como civilización y su solución prácticamente es el reiniciar.
Luego al final vemos un árbol; ¿se supone que simboliza el árbol bíblico?.
También, detalle importante, según nos dice el amigo Nicolas no tiene sentido ir a ningún sitio a no ser “el sitio profetizado” porque el efecto de la ola solar será de un kilómetro de profundidad en la tierra, de hecho lo de que vengan a rescatar así lo hace indicar. Entonces, ¿nadie se refugio en alguna excavación de más de un kilómetro de profundidad?, que existen por cierto.
Si me pongo a pensar un poco más seguro que se me ocurren más preguntas pero la película no merece tanto esfuerzo.
