In 48 BC, Cleopatra, facing palace revolt in her kingdom of Egypt, welcomes the arrival of Julius Caesar as a way of solidifying her power under Rome. Super mega producción hollywoodense de principios de siglo. Aunque no fue la película más cara, sí que tuvo mucho éxito en taquilla.
Una historia épica que creo que está rodada con el mayor exquisito que se podría en los años 30. Aunque está muy americanizada la historia, no deja de ser sorprendente.
