Aunque la historia no valga mucho hay elementos típicamente de terror de los ochentena y detalles propios de las películas de San Raimi:
1,. El terror sorpresa, aquel que sin saberlo te pegan un susto que alucinas, pero esta vez sin necesidad de recurrir a elementos sonoros. (secuencia del principio)
2.- El terror suspense. ( secuencia del garaje) a través de algunos planos al inicio de la secuencia sabemos que algo va a pasar…
3.- Efectos especiales tradicionales ( basados en el maquillaje) y algunos de ellos sexualmente explícitos y muy desagradable.
4.- Por mucho que luche el personaje para salir de su conflicto, sabes que nunca lo va a conseguir.
5.- Un final destructivo.
El terror de los ochenta marco a toda una generación, y esta película tiene un poquito de aquel cine entrañable.
