La película recorre unos paisajes (interiores y exteriores) y relata unas emociones transmitiendo belleza e incomodidad, por tanto no te deja indiferente... pero lo hace sin una narración coherente, no digo una historia estructuralmente convencional, no es lo que espero de LVT, pero sí un mínimo hilo al que agarrarse.
Para ser una película de ciencia ficción le falta ciencia. Para ser una película de intriga la falta un hilo conductor más consistente. Para ser una película dramática sí tiene aspectos inquietantes y emocionantes, pero no soportan por sí solos dos horas de cine.

La historia de Justine (KD) es completamente superficial y cargante. Una persona inestable emocionalmente pero con aparente capacidad para percibir cosas más allá de los sentidos parecería un bueno punto de partida para construir un personaje y contar una historia, pero se recrea melosamente en la inestabilidad emocional y no saca provecho de su segunda cualidad, simplemente la hace aparecer en un momento dado (cuando adivina el número de habichuelas en el bote) sin explicación ni continuidad. A partir de ahí se convierte en un personaje secundario que aporta bien poco a la película.
La segunda parte (Gainsbourg) es más ágil, pero debe arrastrar el lastre de la primera.
