Con una narración a tres tiempos (y a tres fotografías y ritmos) en la que vemos el inicio, apogeo y decadencia de Alan Turing, encarnado por un Benedict Cumberbatch que es el motor de esta máquina perfecta, Morten Tyldum construye entre mezcladamente, dotando al film de un espíritu adictivo de suspense, una exploración del personaje desde lo más íntimo, sin tropezar con el sentimentalismo, una exposición de su importancia vital en el desenlace final de la II GM y un retrato acoloro de una sociedad opresora y sin memoria (y no, no me estoy refiriendo al régimen nazi). La única pega, que el director no constate al espectador con mayor vigorosidad el paso del tiempo.
