Demasiada mezcolanza de géneros acaban hundiendo al film. No ayuda nada el protagonismo de Terence Hill al que es imposible creerse en su papel (sobretodo en el tramo final). Ni siquiera el resto del reparto salva un film descafeinado. (Deneuve y Von Sydow aparecen y desaparecen entre escenas sin que sus personajes lleguen a tener peso en ningún momento).
