Mezclar grandes nombres en una historia ya clásica no es garantía de hacer una buena película. Estilo y buena fotografía, un Poirot más cómico que otra cosa, una Cruz improbable... Un barullo que se hace largo, vaya. La historia ya de por sí es muy artificial para, encima, añadirle lazos y requiebros, haciendo una película que pasa de barroca a casi empalagosa. Todo parece falso y es que, realmente, lo es. Una película innecesaria, verdaderamente.
