Para muchos considerada la obra maestra de Berlanga. En mi opinión no llega a ser tan redonda como Plácido. Ambas tienen ese aire costumbrista que recuerda al Neorrealismo italiano. Elegante la forma de mostrar, o mas bien sugerir las ejecuciones. Brillante la secuencia del corredor en la carcel.
