David Greene, fue un muy buen director "todoterreno" que hizo un buen puñado de películas, telefilms, series y siempre de buenas maneras.
Aquí en esta mítica historia de Dumas con un gran guión del guionista de la soberbia El buscavidas, de Rossen, consigue un film con todos los ingredientes necesarios de la mítica novela inmortal.
Entretenida, bien hecha, con buenas interpretaciones y un tiempo ajustado.
