Película entrañable protagonizada por un buen Cruise y un muy buen Dustin Hoffman, que interpreta un papel memorable sin sobreactuar, algo difícil en esta clase de personajes.
Hubiese sido mejor que Barry Levinson optase por un metraje menor, insuflándole la fuerza de la que el film carece durante ciertos momentos, antes de tiempo.
Esa es la única pega para esta bella historia que mezcla momentos dramáticos con otros cómicos, algunos de estos últimos, muy destacables.
Altamente recomendable.
