Tom Witzky (Kevin Bacon) lives a quiet life with his wife, Maggie (Kathryn Erbe), and their 7-year-old son, Jake. Creo que "El último escalón" es una película que está bien hecha. Punto. Quiero decir, la historia es más de lo mismo. Pero el montaje está muy bien hecho: cómo ligan las escenas que van apareciendo, cómo se resuelve la trama... Está bien para pasar el rato y no aburrirte. Nada más.
