En los 80 Kurosawa no tenía que demostrar nada a nadie en el cine. Porque él era el cine, ningún director en mi opinión ha podido superar a ninguna de su películas, y eso es un logro al alcance de pocos elegidos, esta historia es una adaptación libre del rey Lear de Shakespeare: Las intrigas y envidias entre hermanos, la locura del patriarca, la reflexión del ser humano y el drama.
Perfecta, fantástica, la textura, el vestuario, la ambientación, las interpretaciones, la intensidad.

Qué maravilla, te quedaste a gusto Kurosawa.
