Si la película motiva al espectador a leer “A sangre fría” de Truman Capote, es que ya ha merecido la pena.

Capote no necesitaba una película para que el público le conociera. Más bien, el público debía de conocer la obra de Capote. “Historia de un crimen” consigue acercarnos a la personalidad del escritor y nos muestra su punto de inflexión vital que lo consagra como el rey de la novela negra. Hay que verla, … y hay que leer a Capote.
