"Charlie Bartlett" es una historia que gira en torno al personaje protagonista que lleva el nombre del título. Este personaje se acaba haciendo pesadito ya que resulta demasiado "guay" y satura al espectador. Sin embargo, hay que reconocer el buen hacer del actor Anton Yelchin, muy expresivo, dándole gran carácter y/o personalidad a Charlie.
El resto del elenco cumple y la trama, sin ser gran cosa, cumple su cometido de entretener.
