Vale que está película tiene una fotografía muy hermosa, eso no se puede negar. Y que se usa en abundancia el CGI para recrear no solo paisajes sino elementos y personajes de la escena, como agua, fuego y animales (estos últimos a veces cantan un poco). Pero esta película falla en lo más importante que es lo que cuenta y como lo cuenta. Es un montón de despropósitos tan irreales que eliminan toda credibilidad por muy buen actor que sea DiCaprio.

En condiciones de frío y nieve es muy difícil o imposible hacer fuego. DiCaprio y el indio solitario lo consiguen sin ninguna dificultad. Aparte comer pescado o carne cruda aunque mole mucho es algo que te puede llevar al otro barrio rapidisimamente (escena en la que Glass conoce al indio amistoso). Por no hablar de hipotermia ¿que es eso? ¿a quien le importa la hipotermia, verdad? Está claro que al director de esta película no le interesa lo más mínimo. Imposible que alguien pueda sobrevivir con ese frío a la intemperie, pero aún aceptando eso... Glass cae al agua es arrastrado por un río, sale empapado y como si nada, ni un catarro.... Pero claro no le vamos a pedir esa exactitud a una película donde el protagonista es atacado por un oso, semienterrado vivo, arrastrado por un río, se quema sus heridas con fuego y pólvora, cae por un barranco con su caballo, sobrevive a los ataques de los indios y se arrastra durante kilometros en la nieve sin comida ni bebida tan alegremente.
Aparte la escena en que el indio "bueno" monta una especie de choza para que Glass "hiberne" y salvarle la vida me parece copia de Dersu Uzala... y cuando Glass abre el caballo para meterse dentro está copia de el retorno del Jedi. Y sobre esa escena... ¿era necesario hacer eso después de mostrar tantas dotes de superviviente? No podía hacerse otro "tipi" tal como le enseño su amigo indio y dejar al caballo en paz? Como si destripar a un caballo fuera tan fácil... pero claro queda muy bien esa escena para poner otra analogía de como renace el renacido cosa que hace unas cuantas veces en la película para que nos quede claro porque le llaman así.
Resaltar también la escena final en que se hace el muerto para engañar al "malo" y que este dispare al cadaver... muy bien, pero... ¿como consigue guiar al primer caballo desde la grupa del segundo en esa posición? ¿con telepatía? Así que por favor, sería de agradecer que los guionistas se esforzarán un poquito y no tomen a los espectadores por tontos. No todo es fotografía y CGI.
