Tesis supuso a Amenabar su debut como director de largometrajes en el año 1996 y hasta la fecha sus otras tres películas no consiguieron superar a su ópera prima.
Tesis, contiene grandes dosis de intriga, humor, acción e incluso terror. Gran ejercicio fílmico donde Amenabar nos demuestra su poder con la cámara.
