Basada en hechos reales, Winterbotton ofrece un retrato fresco, divertido e inteligente de Tony Wilson, productor discográfico de los 70 y 80, creador de la mítica Factory Records de Manchester (descubrió a grupos como Joy Division, New Order o Happy Mondays). Es un film sólido, muy activo, que es de imaginar que apasione a gente apasionada/entendida de esa música y el tono documental de la película está también plenamente conseguido.
Para amantes de la cultura rock es un film impagable.
