Estela is an eight year old girl who lives her first approach to mortality through the death of her best friend during a car accident. She and her family live with her great grandmother, who is submerged in a state of constant sleep as the relationship between her and the old woman in a coma becomes stronger. Estela will face these mortality related situations in a very peculiar manner while she discovers herself in the way.
