Drama Marcia is a single mother with two children who works as a cook and shares her home in a neighbourhood on the outskirts of Lisbon with her sister, Ivete, a hairdresser in a shopping centre. One day Claudia, her daughter, who is studying to be a nurse and works as a cashier in a supermarket, reveals that she has fallen in love with an older married man.
