Synopsis
Benito Freire (José L. López Vázquez) is a peddler who lives miserably in an environment dominated by ignorance and superstition. He hawks his wares in Galician villages and suffers from severe epileptic seizures. A rumor begins to spread in the region that there is a werewolf possessed by a demonic spirit. And it is precisely the stories told about the werewolf that begin to suggest him. The film adapts the novel "El bosque de Ancines", which in turn is based on the real events of the crimes of Manuel Blanco Romasanta, the so-called werewolf of Allariz (FILMAFFINITY).
