- Don Serafín (José Luis López Vázquez) is a single antique dealer who has a serious problem with women: in his imagination he always sees all the beautiful women with beards. To try to wake him up, his two married friends (José Sacristán and Rafael Alonso), after inventing excuses for their wives, take him on an erotic-festive getaway to France, crossing the Pyrenees to see the "spicy" movies banned in Spain. And in passing, they try to flirt with French women and get to know the nightlife of cabarets and clubs that the tourist town of Biarritz, France, has to offer. In the end, their adventures beyond the Pyrenees will not turn out quite as they had imagined.
