- Synopsis
- Pandataria is an island belonging to the Pontine archipelago in the Tyrrhenian Sea, where the Romans banished women who did not conform to the rules and where, centuries later, Mussolini imprisoned his opponents. Pandataria is also the name of the show that an independent dance company decided to create about the real history of that island that is now claimed as a symbol of diversity and feminism. Mapa a Pandataria narrates the process of the company as it faces the biggest challenge of its life: to premiere Pandataria, a show starring Cayetana Guillén-Cuervo, Chevi Muraday and Elio Toffana, choreographed and directed by Muraday himself, in the Roman theater of Mérida. Such an enormous challenge that, with only a month to go, the work is still unfinished. Rehearsals have not been able to begin and complications are beginning to accumulate. The island may end up being the final destination of the company itself.
