- Synopsis
- Lisbela e o Prisioneiro is a romantic comedy that tells the funny story of the streetwise, adventurous, and lady killer Leléu (Selton Mello) and of the dreamy young woman Lisbela (Débora Falabella), who loves to watch American movies and dream about cinema heroes. Lisbela is engaged to be married, when Leléu arrives in town. The couple feels immediately attracted and begins to live a love story full of characters from the Northeastern scenario. Lisbela and Leléu will feel the family’s and the social environment’s pressure and also their own doubts and hesitations.
