- Synopsis
- Nit, her mother and younger sister move into her great-grandparents’ house on the coast. Her parents have just split up. Her mother asks her to unpack her luggage but she doesn’t want to. She doesn’t understand what’s happening. They already have a home and that house is dirty and ugly. Nit wants to go back home. With her mother not talking a word to her, overwhelmed and unable to explain her the situation, Nit begins to stand up against this new life. During the hot days of July 1998, Nit will have to face her father’s unexplainable absence and the new reality that sets in: now they live there. Now they’re a family of three.
