- Synopsis
- It's April 30, 1980, Amsterdam. On the day of the coronation celebration, an apartment building is occupied by a group of squatters, provoking a confrontation with the police. Then the filmmaker turns south to Paris, the Drome, the Alps, Rome, Cairo, northern Egypt. It was this trip that influenced Johan van der Keuken to document the inward journey as well as the eternal one. Like the pages of a travel diary, the film shows how all of us project ourselves onto the different worlds we discover.
