Synopsis: Thanks to his rail-otaku boss, Toru has trains on his mind.

Unfortunately for poor Toru, he's a latent esper. A mysterious ghost train - the X-Train - begins to run amok on the rail system of Tokyo, and it seems to be very interested in Toru. And under his control. Well, partially, anyhow... too bad Toru doesn't quite realize it.

But there are others who do - others who realize that there could be a great deal of profit in developing weapons based on the psychokinetic power of Toru and the X-Train. Which is fine by Toru, so long as they can get this train off his back...
