- Synopsis
- Fedor Mukhin, a womanizing, long-haul truck driver, receives a telegram in which a woman called Maria declares her love for him and asks to drive immediately to her home town of Barabash. Although he does not seem to recall who Maria is, Fedor takes off for Barabash and discover upon his arrival that Maria has just passed away, leaving him a teenage daughter named Vera.
