Synopsis: Amalia, daughter of Baron von Sulms, decides to travel to Berlin with her servant Bertha to confront her husband who is cheating on her. Her father follows her because he wants to settle the matter amicably. During the train journey, she falls for Rudolf Greve, who turns out to be a secretary at the Russian consulate. Amalia's father tries to thwart their relationship by telling the secretary that his daughter is a dangerous terrorist.
