Synopsis

The TARDIS materialises in modern-day London, where the Doctor, Jamie and Victoria discover the city deserted and covered in a weird web-like substance coming from the Underground. This crisis was precipitated when their old friend, Professor Travers, accidentally caused one of the robot Yeti to be reactivated, opening the way for the Great Intelligence to invade again. The time travellers work alongside army forces as they battle the alien menace, hampered by one of their number who is a traitor in their midst.
