- Synopsis
- Love conquers fear in this drama of forgery and blackmail. Fred needs a fiancée to appease his rich aunt, so persuades typist Nancy to play the part. Love blossoms, but he must first defeat ruthless blackmailer Armstrong. Short dramatic features like this were a cinematic staple in the 1910s and stars Alma Taylor and Stewart Rome, under contract to leading producer Cecil Hepworth, were a big draw.
