Talented-but-troubled rugby player Rick Penning (Sean Faris) lands in jail for his reckless behavior, where he's awarded the opportunity to join Highland Rugby, a team as unique and principled as its coach (Gary Cole). Una pélicula juvenil típicamente americana en la que se trata sustituir el fútbol americano por el rugby. Lo que intenta hacer hollywood con este noble deporte es acercarlo a un público joven con la tradicional esctructura americana: chico malo que encuentra un entorno bueno y se convierte en bueno pero se tiene que volver a enfrentar con su entorno malo anterior, y como no al final todo acaba bien. Una película decepcionante para los amantes de este deporte.
