Primera película no oficial de Ghibli.
Con un adelanto asombroso a su tiempo, Miyazaki ya nos hablaba de la protección del planeta ante la contaminación (o el ser humano) y que mas adelante nos mostraría en muchas mas de sus películas.
Además es el nacimiento en el cine de uno de los mas grandes compositores, Joe Hisaishi, convirtiendo su primera BSO en mítica y así seguiría hasta el día de hoy con Miyazaki, Kitano etc. Y que nos traiga muchas mas.
