Thriller. Film noir
When young Danny Lambert runs away from camp in south-central Colorado, he becomes the object of a park-wide-search by his wealthy father Robertson Lambert. Una película que me ha sorprendido, encontrada por casualidad en ese tesoro que parece inagotable del cine "clasico" de Hollywood. El film es un cruce entre el trhiller, la investigación policial de un caso de secuentro con tono documental, el drama carcelario con fuga, y el retrato de una banda de malhechores sin escrúpulos. Es aquí, en el retrato de esta banda -interpretada por un elenco de actores imponentes:Broderick Crawford, Ralph Meeker, Lon Chaney Jr., Crarles Bronson...- y de sus planes, donde se hallan los mejores momentos de la película, en mi opinión. Una banda sin escrúpulos en pos de conseguir su objetivo, que no es solo la fuga de la cárcel...
