A pesar de ser un remake italiano de la francesa "Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis (2008)", tiene un nivel muy respetable. Como en la original, las situaciones cómicas se dan por las diferencias culturales y lingüisticas entre dos zonas del país (Italia). Por lo tanto resulta imprescindible verla en versión original.
Tanto su predecesora como esta versión han tenido un enorme éxito de taquilla.
