Quizá se pueda hacer algo lenta y pesada al principio ya que la acción comienza en el último tercio de la película. Buenas actuaciones de los protagonistas en general, sobre todo Henry Fonda en su papel de líder del ejercito autoritario y resentido por su desplazamiento hacia abajo en el escalafón.
