Para entender el verdadero patetismo de la historia que nos cuenta hay que prestar atención al título original "They shoot horses, don't they?". Relato cruel y acertado de la miseria tras la Gran Depresión usando un concurso de baile como metáfora. ¿No disparan a los caballos cuando ya no son útiles para trabajar? ........siempre hacen falta estas reflexiones.
