Animation. Fantasy. Kids
Two young girls, Satsuke and her younger sister Mei, move into a house in the country with their father to be closer to their hospitalized mother. Satsuke and Mei discover that the nearby forest is inhabited by magical creatures called Totoros (pronounced toe-toe-ro). They soon befriend these Totoros, and have several magical adventures.

¡Esto sí es magia! Lo mismo te hace reir, que te hace llorar. O te hace llorar, y luego te hace reir, aun con las lágrimas de haber llorado.
En mi opinión, esta es la mayor obra del señor Miyazaki. Ni "El castillo ambulante", ni "El viaje de Chihiro", ni "Ponyo en el acantilado". Tan solo un nombre: Totoro.
Es una mezcla de magia, nobleza y ternura.
Después de esto, ¿quién no quiere un Totoro en su jardín?
