Interesante película que retrata la vida de los yonkis. A horas luz de otras películas como "Requiem por un sueño" o "Trainspotting".
Intenta ser realista, pero no pasa de ser un pequeño culebron de dos horas para pasar el rato llorando con temas que se han tratado tantas veces.
A destacar el trabajo de Heath Ledger, Abbie Cornish (la revelación de la película) y del siempre espléndido Geoffrey Rush, y mención aparte la fotografía de Garry Phillips.
