Y es que así es "Honor de cavalleria", amigos, el director ha intentado poner en pantalla los elementos necesarios para rendir su particular homenaje al Quijote y a su incansable acompañante Sancho, pero entre planos estáticos que sólo revelan silencios muertos y que no ayudan a los personajes a crecer estructuralmente, un Sancho prácticamente inexpresivo y muy limitado en el uso de sus recursos interpretativos y un Quijote que aquí parece estar más espabilado que de costumbre, nos quedamos con un experimento tan fallido como lento, que propicia que el desinterés se apodere del espectador muy pronto y que esta cinta resulte tan personal como prácticamente vacua.
