He de decir que esta película tiene uno de los mejores arranques lleno de intriga y misterio. Al principio la película toma un buen ambiente filosófico (el tema del determinismo), de suspense, terror y ciencia ficción. Pero conforme va pasando la película te vas dando cuenta de que esto no puede acabar bien. La película empieza a tomar un ambiente aburrido. Yo creo que sería mejor película si no hubieran aparecido los aguafiestas esos vestidos de negro. Al final te quedas diciendo: "pero que han hecho con esta película, o sea toda la historia, todos los enigmas y misterios para que al final sea un final de cuento o de chiste".

Yo creo que el director lo estropea poniendo a los hombrecillos "verdes" vestidos de negro susurrando a los niños en plan fantasmas. El final es de chiste, quiero decir que es como si el guionista se trabaja toda la película, llega al final y no sabe como terminarla, y entonces llama a su hijo de 11 años y le dice: termina la tú!
Y el fallo más importante para mí:
Si el fin del mundo estaba predeterminado y los aliens ya sabían que tenían que hacer y a los niños que salvar, ¿para que toda la parafernalia de los números y los acertijos de nicolas cage?
Un último fallo es en la escena del avión cuando El agente y Nico están hablando y se dan la vuelta para ver el avión chocarse. En una toma parece que el avión viene por detrás de ellos porque se dan la vuelta para verlo, pero en la escena siguiente se ve como el avión viene por el otro lado, lo que me parece un fallo bastante importante.
