En esta séptima parte de Pesadilla en Elm Street trata sobre lo que "pasaría" si Freddy fuese al mundo real. La película explica la verdad: Wes Craven (el director) pretende hacer una nueva pesadilla porque lo piden los fans (justo como en la vida real). No es la mejor de la saga, pero la calificaría como la tercera mejor (1º: Pesadilla en Elm Street; 2º: Pesadilla en Elm Street 3, Dream Warriors; 3º: La nueva Pesadilla de Wes Craven). Yo no sé si esta película tuvo éxito en taquilla, ya que era muy pequeño y no me acuerdo.
