Jed Clampett and kin move from Arkansas to Beverly Hills when he becomes a billionaire, after an oil strike. The country folk are very naive with regard to life in the big city, so when Jed starts a search for a new wife there are inevitably plenty of takers and con artists ready to make a fast buck.

Porque se lo merece. Es lo que yo llamo una película mala sin complejos. Porque hay persecuciones en medio de la casa con música de banjo, hay un orangután (¡¡Dios mío, ¿por qué hay un orangután?!) haciendo carantoñas, cámaras rápidas para hacer reír (al más puro estilo de montar películas de Homer Simpson; sólo falta la cortinilla de estrella, cachis), un cura que en plena boda lee el manual de socorro del avión en vez de la Biblia, un sobrino tonto de risa tonta... Son demasiadas cosas, hay que verla para creer en ella y en sus valores.

¡Si hasta sale Dolly Parton cantando Feliz Cumpleaños! Es que tiene mucho reparto en común con aquella película de los 80 CÓMO ELIMINAR A SU JEFE.
