Estragos de la Muerte en Venecia de Thomas Mann, de Hermann Hesse y de Ciudadano Kane. Fresas Salvajes es apasionante en todos los aspectos, con una narrativa no solo innovadora, sino brillante para su época. Ingmar Bergman expone una mirada nostálgica de un infranqueable profesor con heridas de su juventud que le han marcado durante toda su vida. La sobrecarga psicológica y filosófica -digna de mención- complementa una alegoría perfecta y admirable.
